WHY ?

There is a lot of music out there. Most of it can be classified as  the x-millionth version of the same old stuff, put on the market by a company that likes to release something for which they know already is a big market, something that fits in an already established format. Basically, something that sells. 

SO ?

dD records thinks artists are important. Especially artists who like to cross borders, who are not afraid to go that little step further. To be different. Mediocrity is not what we are after. It will never be boring. Intense. Moody. Maybe hard to grasp at times - well, so be it. Only for a small audience sometimes - so be it.

Our motto is Unpredictable, yet selfevident.

AND?

We don 't think in genres. We are not dance. We are not hiphop. We are not triphop or rock. Or whatever. We can be all at times - but different. We like to prove that diversity is a strength indeed. Eclectisism for us is not just a word-we-have-to-look-up.

We have used the Internet to find musicians. We've put up a FTPserver and would like to invite you to submit your demo's, if you feel comfortable with our policy and if you think, after listening to the RealAudio samples  that your music will fit in. We're scouting for talent and we want to find people who are in a way obsessed, exploring their inner worlds and sharing the results with the world - by means of their music.

When you hear their stuff, you should feel their personality.
